Team Falcons entered the Esports World Cup – Free Fire as one of the favorites, and they certainly lived up to the hype. Although their performance in the Knockout Stage and Points Rush stage was somewhat lackluster, they truly shined when it mattered most.
The tournament was held at Boulevard Riyadh City in Saudi Arabia, featuring a $1 million prize pool. From July 10 to 14, eighteen teams from around the world competed to determine the champions. Adding to the event’s prestige, the winning team secured a direct slot in the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2024 Finals.

In the Grand Finals, the Thai squad delivered a dominant performance, securing the championship with impressive victories in two of the six games. Their strong showing in these crucial matches allowed them to claim the title, despite earlier setbacks, and solidified their status as the top team in the tournament.
In the knockout stage and points rush, Falcons performed adequately but fell short of first place. They entered the Grand Finals with only one bonus point, while their fierce local rival Buriram had accumulated eight points.
The Esports World Cup – Free Fire had a demanding format, giving teams just one day in the Grand Finals to compete for the trophy.
In the following three matches, their performance was mediocre, leading many to believe that the consistent Indonesian squad EVOS Divine would overshadow them.
However, in Game 6, Falcons delivered another masterclass, denying EVOS Divine the victory. They secured 19 kills and achieved a BOOYAH, ultimately claiming the trophy.

With this victory, Team Falcons have also edged closer to the Esports World Cup Club Championship title, where a prize pool of $20 million is on the line.
