A former WWE star JTG, recently revealed that he has had discussions with the Stamford-based company about making a return, but they haven’t led to much. He also mentioned not being approached by AEW or TNA Wrestling.
The Possibility Of Returning To WWE
Although he was a skilled pro-wrestler, he was released from the Stamford-based promotion twice, in 2007 and again in 2014. Since then, he has occasionally appeared on the independent circuit and worked with NWA. However, JTG reportedly discussed the possibility of returning to WWE in 2022, around the time his former tag team partner, Shad Gaspard, was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
During this week’s episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling’s UnSKripted podcast, JTG mentioned that he wouldn’t be joining Triple H’s roster anytime soon, nor will he be part of Tony Khan’s AEW or TNA. When asked about offers from other promotions, the 39-year-old wrestler responded:
“No, not AEW or TNA. Just NWA and when I went back to… WrestleMania, the year that Shad was inducted backstage, there was some talk. But you know, nothing, you know, no follow back on each end.”
