During a Premier League match between Liverpool and Watford, UFC fighter Paddy Pimblett stirred controversy by excessively celebrating the goal. The Liverpool supporters, who had received tickets to the game from Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster, were ultimately removed from the stadium.

Foster Had Already Warned Pimblett

“[There was a] goal after three minutes, I think it was [Sadio] Mane. Him [Pimblett] and his mates jump up – we are in the family and friends enclosure – goal goes in a couple of minutes later, he jumps up again. Not going mental, but jumped up,” Foster said, reported Sportskeeda.

Although Foster had already warned Pimblett to low key and avoid celebrating the goals, but Pimblett couldn’t help himself and jumped up to celebrate Liverpool’s goals, this action made the Steward warn Pimblett to stop and he might face consequences if he continued.

“A steward comes over and says, ‘We are going to have to ask you to leave, you’ll get murdered if you stay in here doing that’. Paddy then comes out the ground, got kicked out, and goes straight on Instagram [and says] ‘Thanks Fozzy lad for the tickets, I love you, but Watford you’re a c*** club’ and all this,” Foster added.

Paddy’s Interest To Fight Against Hooker

Paddy Pimblett first garnered attention on the regional circuit before making a significant impact in the UFC. Recently he has shown interest to fight against Dan Hooker after Hooker’s triumph over Mateusz Gamrot at UFC 305. Hooker’s recent triumph helped him to secure top-five rankings of the lightweight division, making him a highly demanding opponent.

“Yeah. Big one for the lightweight division this, like. Hooker vs. Gamrot. Yeah, I agree with Gamrot being favorite. Don’t know about a big favorite, like, Dan Hooker’s fought a much higher caliber of fighters. Even though he lost a few, he lost a few to some of the best fighters in the world. I could end up fighting one of these, couldn’t I?… Dan Hooker back in the top five. Could be a nice fight for me in the future,” said Pimblett in a YouTube video as he thinks fighting with Hooker would be a exciting for fans.
