The Duchess, 42, might be excited for the release of her new wine line, but sources say her inner circle is worried that she’s setting herself up for failure.The customer even criticized the jam jars for having “cheap” peeling labels.
“She really needs to hit the ground running with whatever she launches next. Right now, the word is it’ll be a signature rosé wine, which has a lot of people shaking their heads and warning her against it,” an insider close to Hindustan Times said
The insider said “The level of competition and pressure in the wine game is ferocious. She’s going to be stepping on quite a lot of toes. It also takes huge dedication and capital to make a successful go in the wine business, as well as a lot of time and patience — which is not really something she has the luxury of right now.”
Her inner circle believes that she may be setting herself up for a “recipe for disaster.
Markle launched her jam jar
Meghan first announced her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, quickly gaining an online following on Instagram. She revealed the first potential product and friends of the Duchess had received handmade pots of strawberry jam, hinting that this could be the first release from the luxury lifestyle brand.
Some of her friends receiving the limited edition shared on social media showing the small jars with handwritten labels featuring the American Riviera Orchard logo and ‘Montecito’ underneath, with the words numbering the jar out of 50.
Fans reaction to her jam jar launch was, One said “Anybody notice the label on the promo jams Meghan Markle is sending to ‘friends’ is literally peeling off? Not a good start.” Another one said: “Cheap labels coming off. This is what people were waiting for?”
