Kevin Hart’s vegan restaurant chain, known as Hart House, has recently faced closures. As reported by Eater Los Angeles, all four of the actor’s restaurant locations were shut down on September 10, 2024. This decision came shortly after the chain’s opening in 2022, marking the end of Kevin Hart’s venture into the culinary world with his plant-based dining establishments.

Hart House CEO Andy Hooper said “The response to the product has been incredible, and we thank our committed team, our customers, and our community partners for helping make the change we all craved, and for their unwavering support of Hart House,”
According to Eater Los Angeles, the restaurant chain operated in Westchester, Monrovia, University Park, and the flagship Hart House on the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue in Los Angeles.
The food company announced its closure by sharing a photo of stacked burgers on Instagram with the message “Thank You.”
The caption of post read “Thank you. To our team, guests, and community, who helped make the change we all craved, A Hartfelt goodbye for now as we start a new chapter.”
Hart’s restaurant first opened on August 25
Hart’s plant-based eatery debuted on August 25 with the goal of providing reasonably priced cuisine made with premium ingredients.
Preservatives, artificial coloring, hormones, antibiotics, high-fructose corn syrup, trans fats, and cholesterol were all promised to be absent from the product at the time.
