Former WWE head writer Vince Russo shared intriguing insights about Roman Reigns’ highly-anticipated comeback at SummerSlam 2024. The renowned star made a captivating entrance during the pinnacle of the event, the main event match, sparking a wave of excitement and speculation within the wrestling community.
Solo Sikoa was still not at the same level as the original Tribal Chief
After getting relentlessly pummeled by Jacob Fatu at the premium live event, Cody Rhodes seemed completely spent and on the verge of calling it quits for the bout. Fatu’s ferocious attack left Rhodes visibly weakened, as he struggled to regain his footing and muster the strength to continue the fight.
Roman returned just as Solo Sikoa was preparing Cody for the finish, unleashing a nasty spear on his cousin. This allowed the American Nightmare to pin his opponent and secure the victory.
Russo on Legion of RAW argued that the new Bloodline faction hasn’t reached its predecessor’s popularity levels, despite Roman Reigns’ return, and Solo Sikoa is still not at the same level as the original Tribal Chief.
Russo said “Roman Reigns comes back at freaking SummerSlam. Bro, you’re gonna sit there and actually try to have an argument with me that Solo Sikoa was over? Are you really gonna try and convince me that the new Bloodline is over?”
WWE advertised Reigns for the upcoming episode of SmackDown
WWE has generated buzz by officially announcing that Reigns is scheduled to make a highly-anticipated appearance in the next episode of SmackDown. This move is especially significant as it will be the initial time the esteemed original Tribal Chief graces the blue brand following his recent title loss at WrestleMania XL, sparking widespread excitement among fans eager to witness his return to the spotlight.
Fans are anticipating Roman’s reflections on his actions during the recent SummerSlam event, curious to hear his perspective and insights into the choices he made during the intense matches that unfolded last Saturday.
