Cody Rhodes and Damian Priest are working on different WWE brands, Priest disclosed a decision he made regarding his future because Rhodes would be back in 2022.

After a mid-card run on NXT, Priest became well-known and is currently engaged in a feud with his former faction members in The Judgement Day.

Damian Priest opened up about changing his finisher

Damian Priest talked candidly about switching up his finisher with the news of Cody Rhodes’ WWE comeback.

Chris questioned him about whether WWE had requested that he modify The Reckoning, a finisher that resembles Cody’s Cross Rhodes. Archer pointed out that the business never explicitly stated he couldn’t utilize his previous finishing.

He said “Actually, they didn’t say you can’t do it anymore, I do it differently but it’s one of those things. They’re like, ‘You might wanna…’ but they never said, ‘Change it,'”

Even Cody Rhodes didn’t think he needed to alter his move, according to the former world heavyweight champion. But every time he made a move, he thought that people would remember The American Nightmare.

“If [Rhodes comes] back, and I’m doing this move, every time I hit it, people are gonna think of [him],” he added “He has his own twist, the way he hooks the arms and twists back and forth. I would do it more with taking my arm out and spinning underneath, but at the end of the day, it’s a Rolling Cutter, right?”

Nowadays, Priest ends most of his matches with a South of Heaven Chokeslam for WWE fans to witness. His trademark technique, which he executed flawlessly to win important matches, is now this.

Damian Priest recently turned face

Cody Rhodes is the biggest babyface in WWE, while Damian Priest is preparing for a memorable run with his new character.

Since the two haven’t squared off in a while, the promotion is probably holding off on scheduling an Undisputed WWE Championship battle between the two celebrities. If The American Nightmare holds onto his championship for a while, fans might witness him turn heel.

Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline are currently embroiled in another rivalry. In order to defeat the bootleg faction, he might work with Roman Reigns. Later on, he might fight Damian Priest in additional feuds.
