Manchester United seeks to strengthen the back line with new right back. The team is interested in many players including Bayern’s Mazaraoui to strengthen their back four.
These interests are rising due to the potential departure of club’s current Right Back Aaron Wan-Bissaka. They also showed interest in Bayer Leverkusen’s Frimpong.
Manchester United signs Leny Yoro
United recently signed Leny Yoro from French side, Lille, and are not stopping to force their back line further. Matthijs de Ligt, the center defender for Bayern Munich, is still wanted, but the German team is asking for a price above £42 million.
In order to recoup a fee of almost £20 million, Manchester United will consider offers for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who has attracted interest from West Ham United and Galatasaray. The 26-year-old defender has a year remaining on his contract at Old Trafford. As the transfer window progresses, United will weigh the proposals and determine the best course of action for both the player and the club.
This decision comes as part of United’s broader strategy to optimize their squad and finances ahead of the upcoming season. Although, Wan-Bissaka may be a part of the club’s friendly tour to USA, his future remain at Old Trafford remains in doubt.
New Co-owners at United decides to lay off 200 employees
With intentions to eliminate about 250 jobs from the workforce, United is expected to send fewer employees to the United States.Many employees were informed that their jobs were in jeopardy.
Later these employees were removed from the trip as a result of the impending cost-cutting effort spearheaded by new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his INEOS team.When questioned about the employee layoffs, United declined to comment.
