Alix Earle, a TikTok creator, has publicly revealed her love for Braxton Barrios since they officially confirmed their relationship in November 2023.
Earle began teasing her relationship with “NFL Man” in March 2023, but it wasn’t until November that she officially called Berrios her boyfriend. Since then, Earle has been open about their lives, posting glimpses of their trips and dates on her platforms.
“He is the best and is so respectful of me”
In a episode of her podcast, Earle said “I really do appreciate NFL man, and he is the best and is so respectful of me and I’m trying to be my best self, I don’t think we’ve ever had a fight about anything,”
In 2024, Berrios attended his friend’s wedding in Venice and spent time with Earle in Montauk before returning to Miami for training camp with the Miami Dolphins, where he plays as a wide receiver.
Berrios was raised in Raleigh, N.C.
Berrios, originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, found his passion for football while attending Leesville Road High School.
Despite having enticing scholarship offers from renowned football powerhouses such as Ohio State University and Clemson University, Berrios ultimately decided to showcase his skills at the University of Miami, conveniently located just an hour away from his father’s hometown of Homestead, Florida.
In a July 2024 interview with Forbes, Berrios reflected on his childhood enthusiasm for both the Miami Dolphins and the Miami Hurricanes, a sentiment that deeply influenced his career choices.
Musing on the irony of his subsequent drafts to the New England Patriots and then the New York Jets, Berrios humorously noted the shift in team loyalties his father had to make.
Talking about Miami, he said “The whole side of my dad’s family is from here, You can imagine when I was drafted to New England, my dad was very happy.”
He also added “But he was like, ‘Oh, gotta root against my Dolphins.’ And then going to the Jets and having my family root against the Dolphins. When I signed with Miami, it’s kind of a full circle moment. And this is home for me.”
The Patriots selected wide receiver Antonio Berrios in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He was placed on injured reserve but received a Super Bowl ring.
He was discarded in 2019 and later claimed by the Jets, where he played four seasons before signing a two-year, $12 million contract in March 2022.
A year later, the Jets released him, and he agreed to a one-year contract with the Miami Dolphins. Berrios believes the trade worked out, and he signed with the Dolphins in March 2024.
Earle and Berrios first met at a Miami party
In the December 2023 episode of Hot Mess, Earle revealed that she first met Berrios at a Miami party in February 2023.
They were friendly, but Berrios was just getting out of a relationship with Sophia Culpo. In March, he asked Earle out on a date, surprising her with a helicopter ride over Miami.
