Marvin Vettori, the UFC middleweight contender, recently utilized his platform on social media, notably X, to provide further insights regarding the altercation he had with fellow fighter Brendan Allen at a casino post the PFL 8 event.

The intense confrontation between the two athletes was captured by numerous onlookers who quickly pulled out their phones to document the unfolding situation, creating a chaotic scene within the casino’s walls.

Clips of the brawl show Allen storming toward Vettori

The brawl footage shows Allen striking Italian boxer Vettori twice, possibly in response to his previous attack on UFC light heavyweight George Tokkos. Vettori claims to have performed better than the footage suggests.

He disclosed in a recent tweet that he is recovering from an arm injury that left him without use of one arm and that, despite being supposedly outnumbered seven to one, he may have struck Allen with his own blows before the fight was captured on camera.

He said “One armed with 7 guys on the other side but show your face because I may have clipped u couple time before the recording lol”

Vettori challenged Allen to post pictures of his own face

Vettori said he had beaten Allen with unfilmed blows, and he challenged Allen to share photographs of his face. UFC CEO Dana White, who hailed the bout as the most thrilling of the evening, took notice of the altercation.

However, the company has recently expressed concern over its competitors brawling outside of the octagon. Muhammad Mokaev’s many efforts to attack Manel Kape, some of which were successful, did not endear him to UFC brass, among other unreported behavioral issues, according to White.

Marvin Vettori hasn’t fought in the octagon in over a year, his most recent appearance being a blowout loss to Jared Cannonier on June 17, 2023. However, he was set to face Brendan Allen at UFC Fight Night 240 in April.

Vettori withdrew from a bout due to an arm injury, possibly related to a tweet. His rage-fueled trash talk, which he aimed at Allen, sparked a feud that has now escalated into a brawl.
