The USSF said Pulisic is skipping the game and going back to AC Milan
Marlon Fossey and Zack Steffen, who were absent from Saturday’s victorious game against Panama, are both set to rejoin their respective teams as confirmed by the U.S. Soccer Federation on Sunday.
The federation also revealed that Christian Pulisic will not participate in the upcoming match for AC Milan due to load management concerns.
Additionally, the federation disclosed that the other players who were sidelined in the previous game are nursing minor injuries and will undergo thorough evaluation and treatment with their club teams to ensure a swift and effective recovery process.
No players are being added
No additional players are being included in the roster, thus maintaining a total of 21 available players for the upcoming match in Guadalajara.
During the thrilling game against Panama, Pulisic showcased his skill by contributing an important assist for Yunus Musah, leading to a goal early on in the second half.
Adding to the excitement, Pepi secured a crucial goal during stoppage time. Notably, this game also marked the much-anticipated debut of Mauricio Pochettino as the head coach of the United States national team.
