Al-Nassr is reportedly planning to pursue AC Milan’s Rafael Leao to appease Cristiano Ronaldo following their defeat in the Saudi Super Cup. The club is looking to strengthen their squad to address Ronaldo’s concerns.

Al-Nassr’s Strategic Move to Comfort Ronaldo

Al-Nassr is taking decisive steps to comfort Cristiano Ronaldo following their disappointing 4-1 loss in the Saudi Super Cup final to Al-Hilal.

According to recent reports, the Riyadh-based club is preparing to make a significant signing, with AC Milan’s Rafael Leao emerging as a prime target.

The move is part of Al-Nassr’s effort to address Ronaldo’s dissatisfaction after the defeat and bolster the team’s performance.

Rafael Leao, who is also linked with top European clubs like Barcelona, has caught the attention of Al-Nassr due to his impressive performances and potential.

Despite his past with Ronaldo on the Portuguese national team, the two have yet to combine for a goal contribution. Nonetheless, Leao’s arrival could be a significant boost for Al-Nassr, offering them a dynamic attacking option.

The Italian forward, aged 25, is valued at around €70 million, reflecting his importance to AC Milan and his potential impact on the Saudi Pro League.

Gundogan’s Potential Move and Al-Nassr’s Future Plans

In addition to targeting Leao, Al-Nassr had shown interest in Barcelona midfielder Ilkay Gundogan.

The German international, who is nearing a return to Manchester City, was considered a potential reinforcement for the Saudi side.

However, it seems that Gundogan is set to continue his career in Europe, with Manchester City looking to retain his experience for their ongoing campaigns in the Premier League and UEFA Champions League.

Gundogan’s move back to Manchester City would see him contributing to their pursuit of another Premier League title and Champions League success.

Al-Nassr’s focus on strengthening their squad remains evident, but it appears that their primary target now is Leao, reflecting their commitment to supporting Ronaldo and improving their competitive edge in the league.
