The Apex Legends tournament at the Esports World Cup is going to be exciting and huge as 40 teams will be competing for a shot to win a $2 million prize pool over five match days. The battle royale action is looking to be quite intense and fans are already getting hype and making rankings and tier lists.

Schedule Of The Match
The Apex Legends Esports World Cup will take place from August 1 – August 4. The tournament is split into three stages. There will be a Group Stage, a Last Chance Stage and the Grand Finals.
- Group A – August 1
- Group B – August 2
- Last Chance – August 3
- Grand Finals – August 4
Format Of The Match
Group Stage:
40 teams will be split into two even groups of 20 teams each and compete in a series of 10 games. The top nine teams from each group will advance to the Finals. Teams placed 10th to 19th in each group will move on to the Last Chance stage, while the 20th-placed teams will be eliminated.
Last Chance:
20 teams will compete in a series of 10 games. The top two teams from this stage will advance to the Finals. Teams placed third to 20th will be eliminated.

Are you excited for the massive Finals?
Well, the Finals will be taking place on August 4th. The 20 remaining teams will compete in the Match Point Format. The first team to hit 60 points and then secure a first place finish in the next matches will be crowned the winner. The remaining teams will be ranked based on their total points in the series. The 18 teams that advanced from the Group Stage will start the Finals with Advance Starting Points based on their placements in the Winners Bracket.
