After a 15 years split, brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher, Oasis finally revealed that they are getting back together, reforming for a reunion tour.

As per announcements, Next year in 2025, the band will go on a tour playing 14 shows in the U.K. and Ireland that even includes four dates in their native Manchester and four at London’s Wembley Stadium.
“This is it, this is happening,” posted on the Oasis’s social media.
One of the most successful bands of the 1990s, Oasis has released up to 75 million records and played to stadiums all across the globe. Both Gallagher brothers announced the reunion as they posted a short video to X with a “27.08.24” in the band’s famous logo font. The news came at 8 a.m. U.K. time (3 a.m. ET), announcing : A major tour that finally reunites the warring siblings.

Noel and Liam Gallagher are the iconic siblings behind the British rock band Oasis, known for their chart-topping hits in the 1990s like “Wonderwall” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger.” Despite their massive success, the brothers’ tumultuous relationship has been widely publicized, leading to the band’s split in 2009. Noel was the primary songwriter and guitarist, while Liam was the lead vocalist, and their sibling rivalry became as famous as their music
Noel Compliments His Younger Brother
Noel complimented his younger brother in an interview, praising his rasping vocals. “It’s the delivery or the tone of his voice and the attitude,” he said, comparing Liam’s voice to “10 shots of tequila on a Friday night” whereas his own as “half a Guinness on a Tuesday.”
The reformation of Oasis may have been influenced by the success of other 90s bands, such as their former rivals Blur, who reunited to perform two sold-out shows at Wembley Stadium last year. Blur’s first show sold out all 90,000 tickets in minutes, highlighting the appeal of 90s peers and possibly prompting the Gallagher brothers to reconsider bringing Oasis back together.
