The longtime Taylor Swift fan and Public Enemy rapper, Flavor Flav, 65, has attended numerous concerts on the Eras Tour, even receiving a shout-out from Swift during her performance at Volksparkstadion in Hamburg, Germany, on July 23. This has earned him the nickname “King Swiftie” among her fans.
Not Finished Attending The Pop Star’s Tour
However, he told PEOPLE at the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 21, that he isn’t finished attending the pop superstar’s current tour, expressing his intention to go to “as many as I can make” of her upcoming shows.
Swift is set to resume her record-breaking tour next month, starting with three shows in Miami on Oct. 18, followed by performances in New Orleans later that month. In early November, she will have a series of concerts in Indianapolis. The Eras Tour will then head to Canada for several shows in Toronto, concluding with three performances in Vancouver in December.
“I know I’m going to one of them in Florida,” Flavor Flav told PEOPLE.
“After that, I don’t know, as many as I could go to. As many as I can, as many as my schedule will permit me to go to, at least,” he added.
The rapper previously attended Taylor Swift’s Detroit stop on the Eras Tour at Ford Field on June 9, 2023, and her Los Angeles show at SoFi Stadium in August 2023. He also attended the premiere of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour on October 11, 2023.
“And Me Being A Big Fan Of Hers”
The pair also spoke at the 2024 Grammys in February, where Flav later told the Los Angeles Times that he finally “got to get some Taylor time” at the awards show after attending her concerts the previous year.
“The discussion [at the event] was about me congratulating her on all her success. And me being a big fan of hers, a big supporter of hers,” he told the outlet.
Expressed His Support To Jordan Chiles
The “King Swiftie” also recently expressed his support for another star, gifting U.S. gymnast Jordan Chiles a custom bronze clock necklace at the MTV VMAs 2024 on Sept. 11. Flav designed the clock for Chiles after she was stripped of her bronze medal following the gymnastics floor exercise final at the Paris Olympics in August.
“I can’t say yet,” he told PEOPLE when asked who’s next to get a timepiece.
“I don’t just give them away to nobody, you know what I’m saying? You got to be real special in order to get this. I like to keep my clocks exclusive,” he added.
