After Returning From Colombia, Prince Harry Plans A Major Solo Trip

Prince Harry along with his wife Meghan Markle comes from a successful four-day trip to Colombia, now planning a next tour. However, this time he will be on a solo trip.

Prince Harry’s Next Trip

In a report by Hindustan Times, as per a statement, Prince Harry will arrive in New York to “advance a number of his patronages and philanthropic initiatives.”

According to Prince Harry’s spokesman, he will visit New York on his next trip during the UN General Assembly High-level Week and Climate Week in September to participate in the initiatives with African Parks, The HALO Trust, The Diana Award, and Travalyst.

Moreover, he is planning to expand The Archewell Foundation’s work, the non-profit organization founded by him and the Duchess of Sussex.

The High-level Week will be held from September 23 to September 27 and the Climate Week will run from September 22 to September 29.

Duke’s Visit Overlap With Another Major Event 

The Duke’s visit to New York will overlap with another significant event, Prince William’s Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit, which is set to take place on September 24.

The future King launched the Earthshot Prize in 2020 to promote sustainable solutions for pressing environmental issues like conservation, deforestation, and climate change. The Prince aims to award £1 million in prizes in five categories annually until 2030. 

It is unlikely that both Prince William and Prince Harry will encounter each other as Prince William may not attend this year’s summit in person. 

Last Year’s Trip To New York

Prince Harry’s last trip to New York was held in October 2023 after attending The Archewell Foundation Parents’ Summit: Mental Wellness in a Digital Age. The trip took place just months after the Sussexes’ car chase across Manhattan in May 2023.

“Were involved in a near catastrophic car chase at the hands of a ring of highly aggressive paparazzi,” the couple’s spokesman claimed.

Although Prince Harry’s trip details to New York are still unclear, he will be under greater surveillance due to Markle’s alleged “near catastrophic” vehicle chase.
