Danny Webb has resigned as Yeovil Town manager after overseeing just one match—a 1-0 defeat to Tamworth. The former Chesterfield coach cited personal and family reasons for his decision, making him the shortest-serving permanent manager in the club’s history.

Club Statement Expresses Regret

Yeovil Town released a statement acknowledging Webb’s departure with disappointment but understanding. “He has expressed his personal sadness in having to leave the club but feels this is the right decision for him and his family,” the club said.

Dryden Returns to Lead the Squad

Coach Richard Dryden, who previously served as interim manager, has been promoted to lead Yeovil for the remainder of the season. Dryden won two of his three games during his earlier stint and will now be backed with an increased budget to keep the squad competitive.

Yeovil Fighting to Avoid Relegation

After 10 games, Yeovil sit 17th in the National League, just two points above the relegation zone. The club has urged fans to rally behind Dryden and the team, emphasizing the need for unity and support in the upcoming fixtures.
