Hollywood icons Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise reunited publicly for the first time in 24 years at the London premiere of Pitt’s upcoming film F1. The duo, who last appeared together on the red carpet in 2001, shared a warm hug, laughed, and posed for the cameras—sending fans into a nostalgic frenzy.
The official F1 Instagram page captured the moment with the caption: “The moment Tom Cruise surprised us on the #F1TheMovie red carpet!” The reunion took place at the European premiere of F1, directed by Joseph Kosinski, who also helmed Top Gun: Maverick.
Cruise, dressed in a charcoal suit and grey shirt, joined Pitt—who wore a green suit and sage scarf—alongside Kosinski, producer Jerry Bruckheimer, and Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali.

The reunion instantly reminded fans of the actors’ only film together, Interview with the Vampire (1994), where Cruise played Lestat and Pitt portrayed Louis. Social media lit up with comments like “It’s Lestat and Louis!” and “This picture shows the whole star power of Hollywood in a single frame.”
This marked their first red carpet appearance together since the America: A Tribute to Heroes benefit concert in 2001. Despite their long-standing careers, the two have rarely been seen together in public, making this moment even more special for fans.

About F1: A High-Speed Comeback Story
F1, set to release in theatres on June 25, stars Brad Pitt as Sonny Hayes, a former Formula One driver who returns to the sport to help his friend’s struggling team and mentor a rookie driver, played by Damson Idris.
The film was shot during real Formula One Grand Prix weekends, with both Pitt and Idris performing their own driving scenes. Real F1 drivers also make appearances, adding authenticity to the high-octane drama.
