Cam Newton’s Piece Of Advice On Footballer Justine Jefferson’s $140 Million Deal With Vikings

Justine Jefferson got his new huge contract extension with the Minnesota Vikings. He has more than enough money to leave his $405k townhouse and buy a better house to call home now, becoming one of the richest players in the NFL 

“Justin has earned this contract,” the Wilfs offered in a statement, “and we are thrilled he will remain a Minnesota Viking for a very long time.”

A Piece Of Advice To Follow

While a wide range of opportunities opens up with a bomb of money, how to manage the money is the important point. Cam Newton has some really good pieces of advice to follow and don’t spew everything just because you can now. 

“Rule number one when you get the f**king bag, never purchase a house where you got the country at… if you want to splurge on something, Splurge on what you can’t foresee you always going back to. In-season house and off-season house, two different houses, you got the money to do it. In-season house, $2M, and off-season house, $10M.”

New Deal Signed By Justine Jefferson

Justin Jefferson got his new deal, signing a four-year, 140 million deal with the Minnesota Vikings including 110 million in guaranteed money and more than $88 million in upfront money, making him the highest-paid non-quarterback in the NFL.

From the financial perspective, Jefferson’s life is secure as production across his rookie contract can’t be denied by any means, becoming the best wide receiver in the league. Although he missed seven games last year due to an hamstring strain but he was still able to caught 68 passes for 1,074 yards with 5 touchdowns

The Vikings are starting a new era in 2024 as they no longer have Kirk Cousins or Danielle Hunter, so getting their best player and franchise cornerstone to stay in the fold with a long-term contract is a move that owners Zygi and Mark Wilf had to make.

A New Era For Vikings With Jefferson

Jefferson has become the team’s leader, and a more enthusiastic player to lead his team. Whether that’s enough to help the Vikings become a winning team in 2024 and beyond is still to be determined.
