Since Marvel has been involved in the order of transforming a brand new era altogether with the introduction of latest characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, initiation of a female version of Deadpool never seemed to be an exception on the list.
Granting such an idea, the composer behind Deadpool namely Rob Liefeld has disclosed that he’s convinced enough to cast Game of Thrones actress Lena Headey in the role of Lady Deadpool.
Wisecracking on the primacy: Cercei Lannister
And circumstantially Cercei Lannister jested in a late talk that she’d rather like to accept the role in an interview with GeekHouseShow, who added that if she’s considered for playing a comic book personality, she’d simply pluck the Merc with a Mouth! Well, that sounds amazing. But it seems that Ryan Reynolds is ready to iterate his part as Deadpool in an upcoming third film. That prompted Lena Heady to surrender saying, “Anyway, that’s been taken.”
What about an insanely trendy titular role?
Now caught up in the turn of occasions, Liefeld has somehow figured that another character can be contemplated for the act which would be that of Wanda Wilson, aka Lady Deadpool. In a conversation with ComicBook.com, he super excitedly expressed his consent while nodding, “Bring it on baby, bring it on! Lady Deadpool is fantastic. She’s ridiculously popular as well. Also slightly underused I think.”
He further continued, “You know what they have planned for Deadpool, right now? They got a goose egg….Do what I do. I set myself up for all the haters.”
The better worthy: Ant-Man 3 vs Deadpool 3
Meanwhile, however, it seems Deadpool 3 is impeded on the go which stands in a fixation at Marvel Studios under the directions of Kevin Feige. In fact, Rob Liefeld recently opposed to Marvel’s statement telling the act of permitting a film like Ant-Man 3 was anyhow strange when compared to a commercial franchise like Deadpool that deserved the approval much before.
He uttered, “Look, if they start making Deadpool today, it would come out in four years. I can’t be excited about that,”.
