If you know, filming the fourth Matrix movie has already resumed in Berlin, Germany. To give an overview of how things are getting dealt on the set as against the coronavirus pandemic, Keanu Reeves has recently praised the crew’s efforts to preserve the safety of the movie’s cast members.
Triumphing the threats
In a conversation with the Associated Press, the actor told, “There’s some really thoughtful, effective protocols in place, and the rhythm of filmmaking has not been really impacted or interrupted, in the sense of filming. That’s because of the hard work and organization, and again the thoughtfulness that has gone into the protocols.”
High on spirit
Reeves further added, “everyone loves the project. If you’re ever going to get into any kind of situation that needs to be figured out, or ‘How do we do this?’ show business people are the best. We’re just scrappy, we know how to get stuff done, we’re inventive, think on our feet, and that kind of kindred spirit of just coming together—goes back to, like, you know, ‘Let’s put on a show!’ ‘We’ll get some props, we’ve got some things, we’re going to write!’ And that spirit is definitely alive and well on The Matrix.”
On the other hand, James Cameron has resumed filming his Avatar sequel in New Zealand, whereas Jurassic World: Dominion has hardly differed on the mandate resuming production at Pinewood Studios outside London.
A surprising absence
Meanwhile, Laurence Fishburne came to reveal that he won’t pay a visit to Berlin as he didn’t get any call for the newest installment. Speaking to New York magazine, the star told, “I have not been invited. Maybe that will make me write another play. I wish them well. I hope it’s great”.
