R6 Esports has abruptly declared that the most recent operator would not be allowed to participate in any official competitive matches in an effort to preserve the integrity of the competition. This choice was made in reaction to worries regarding the operator’s excessive strength and ability to throw off the game’s balance.
New R6 Operator Faces Quarantine
Skopos, the newest operator to join the Defenders, is now in quarantine, as announced by R6 Esports on X. She was taken out of the Operator pool for competitive play, and it appears that some major issues about fair play have been raised by this new character’s ability and potential. Furthermore, it was not stated in the text whether or not the new Operator will be added back to the pool.
One of the most inventive characters to be unveiled in Rainbow Six Siege to yet is without a doubt Skopos. The real operator is a sharpshooter who uses a wheelchair, and she commands two V10 Pantheon Shells from outside the map. This has resulted in a gameplay style known as “one-mind-two-body,” when only one shell is active at a time, with the other shell serving as a bulletproof camera by hiding behind a strengthened shield.

Additionally, it mentioned that there are fair play issues that could jeopardize the scene’s integrity and health. The statement also stated that authorities would be keeping a close eye on the operator and will render a decision regarding her quarantine status for Stage 2 at a later time.
The fact that Skopos loses control of both Shells in the event that even one is destroyed adds a crucial element of balance and keeps the character from having multiple lives. To be able to set one body down in a separate spot and then quickly switch to create pincer attacks on one’s own, though, is unquestionably advantageous.
