JDG Esports Announces Grand Opening of New Beijing Headquarters

JDG Esports, the esports division of Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com, has unveiled its brand new headquarters in Yizhuang, Beijing. The impressive facility spans over 15,000 square meters and will serve as a central hub for the organization’s competitive teams, business operations, and content creation.

A Multi-Functional Space for Growth

The five-story headquarters offers a designated space for every aspect of JDG Esports’ operations. The first floor features a dedicated event space, ideal for hosting tournaments, press conferences, and other esports-related gatherings. The second floor houses a modern and integrated office area, facilitating efficient collaboration for the organization’s business team.

The third floor, dubbed the “live streaming base,” is likely dedicated to content creation. This space could potentially host live streams, video productions, and potentially serve as a practice environment for the organization’s content creators.

The top two floors provide crucial areas for the esports athletes. These floors will be used by JDG’s professional gamers for training purposes and will also serve as their living quarters, fostering a true team environment.

A Well-Supported Esports Powerhouse

JDG Esports is a prominent name in the competitive gaming landscape, boasting teams in League of Legends, VALORANT, Peacekeeper Elite, Naraka Bladepoint, and Honor of Kings. The recent acquisition of a KPL franchise slot from Vici Gaming solidified their presence in the Honor of Kings scene.

JDG Esports isn’t just a force to be reckoned with on the competition front; they’ve also secured partnerships with major brands. Earlier in 2024, they announced sponsorship deals with German supplement brand Doppelherz and car manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover, making them the exclusive automotive partner for the organization.

JDG Esports boasts an impressive roster of partners, including tech giants like Intel and ASUS ROG, technology companies like BOE Technology Group, streaming platform Huya, and brands like Durex, NIU, and AutoFull. This strong network of partnerships underscores JDG Esports’ position as a leading organization within the Chinese esports industry.
