EA Sports has announced an exciting update for UFC 5, adding two new fighters to its already impressive roster. Set to be released on September 26, this update aims to enhance the gaming experience for fans and players alike, introducing fresh talent into the octagon.
New Additions to the Roster
On September 25, EA unveiled two new UFC 5 alter personalities for Brian Ortega and Alexander Volkanovski, ahead of the release of the most recent update. Back in 2021, Volkanovski defeated the other fighter in a five-round battle at UFC 226 via unanimous decision. EA is releasing a new “on this day” alter-ego series to commemorate the historic battle’s third anniversary. The series attempts to recreate the fighters as they were on the day of the fight.
Regarding the new fighters included in patch 1.14, enthusiasts can check out 25-year-old lightweight contender Chase Hooper, who is renowned for being a formidable grappler and a perfect choice for any UFC 5 player hoping to win by submission. Next is Lerone Murphy, who just made a name for himself in the UFC featherweight rankings, now holding the twelfth spot. Murphy possesses not only a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu blue belt but also a strong stand-up routine and an abundance of endurance.
Enhancements to Gameplay
Alongside the new fighters, this update will also include various gameplay improvements and bug fixes aimed at enhancing user experience. EA Sports is committed to refining mechanics and ensuring that all fighters are accurately represented in terms of skills and attributes.
EA Sports continues to engage with its community by seeking feedback on fighter performance and gameplay dynamics. The developers encourage players to share their experiences and suggestions, which help shape future updates and patches.
Important gameplay updates
Repaired a bug that let a fighter use an approaching slipping rear hook to partially block the special lead hook block counter.
Resolved a bug that prevented the Triangle entry from Submissive Rubber Guard when there was a significant stamina advantage.
lowered the criterion for stamina advantage in some ground transitions:
Smash Pass from Side Control to Dominant Full Guard at 25 to 10.
When the dominant moves to the other side after the submissive moves to one side, this is what happens. The dominant moves first. Weighing Transitions are necessary for this.
