On Aug.25, Jennifer Garner, 52, shared a video on Instagram as she took some time out from her busy schedule and spent it on her pumpkin patch, providing some amazing guidance on growing vegetables.
Garner’s Advice On Growing Vegetables
Garner wearing a dungarees over a t-shirt says “Nerdy farm facts,” and holds onto a yellow flower. “This flower is both male and female.”
Garner went on to explain the pollination process and how bees are the biggest blessing, saying, “There’s a pistol inside and it needs the pollen. Do you know who takes care of that? Bees! Thank you for the bees! Once the pollen falls onto the pistol in the middle the miracle continues.”
Garner has a great sense of humor as she says, “It can start to grow. This is when you get the email that says, ‘Congratulations, Mama Pumpkin. Your baby is the size of a large grape.'”
Pulling the camera towards the flower, she says “It keeps growing and growing and growing.” She shows a flower and says, “This curls and dries off.”
“Sometimes, it doesn’t. It’s like a little umbilical cord, it’s crazy,” the actress said
“They Keep Growing And Growing”
Garner carries two unripe pumpkins and congratulates the Mama pumpkin for her baby’s growth,“ ‘Dear Mama, congratulations,’ ‘Today your pumpkins are a nice size B. And they keep growing and growing until they grow into big beautiful pumpkins.’ ”
Garner then concluded the video by sitting with large ripe pumpkins and captioned the video that reads, “Nerdy Farm Facts: Pumpkins. .”
Garner Conquers Her Fear
“The triumph of the former picky eater,” the actress said while taking a bite of abalone and captioned the video as, “Honor the life forces that feed us.”
