Christmas Tradition in the Royal Family
Christmas Eve and the following week is always a festive season for the royal family and the rest of the Brits. The royal family traditionally celebrates Christmas Eve. Christmas brings all the royal family together. According to the German heritage, the royal family on the 24th December, every year, sit down normally together and open the presents they receive from each other. All the members of the royal family have a stack of gifts laid out on the Trestle table of their Drawing room. Name cards are mandatory in front of every stack of gifts.
Their tradition is to exchange funny presents which at times become hilarious. They prefer not to exchange expensive gifts amongst themselves. Their Christmas celebration becomes beautiful with family jovial talks and feast.
