Katy was seated between the other two judges of the show, Lionel Ritchie and Luke Brian. After the heartfull laughter, she needed few moments to understand what had happened behind her back-quite literally- while she blurted out “I just split my pants!” Her jolly and bubbly appearance released the tension that had accelerated at the span of the incident and the audience once burst into laughter.

Though the situation had all the potentials to cut the episode of the American Idol show short, Perry’s sporty outcome saved the night. She handled the situation like a pro and did not call allegations on a wardrobe malfunction. And for that, we absolutely adore the Roar singer. The incident did not leave Katy horrified but we understand what might have been her inner feelings during those moments. Lionel Ritchie started to help Perry but found that the rockstar has spoken for herself and handled the situation much better than anyone could ever have. She made the audience laugh over the silly matter even though she might be distressed a lot inside.
