Lizzo entertained everyone

Lizzo entertained everyone pretty well with “Truth Hurts” and “Good as Hell,” alongside “Love yourself in a world that doesn’t love you back. You deserve to feel good as hell.”

Missy won Video Vanguard Award

Missy Elliott won this year’s Video Vanguard Award. She was the most deserving ones and sang a couple of numbers, including “Throw It Back,” “The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly),” “Get Ur Freak On,” “Work It,” “Pass That Dutch” and “Lose Control”.

Jonas Brothers performed

Jonas Brothers performed at the show which included their big comeback hit “Sucker”.

The Worst moments of the show:

Having performed the single “If I Can’t Have You” earlier in the night, Shawn Mendes returned to the stage to perform “Señorita,” his new No. 1 single with Camila Cabello. As the stage appearing to be lit in candlelight, the two young, videogenic pop stars managed to create a romantic mood within the arena, showing their rumoured romance. They were ready to make-out right in front of the audience and the world but the kiss didn’t take place.

The video of the year award was presented midway through the MTV Video Music Awards because it supposed to be the last award of the night.

Billy Ray Cyrus, the featured singer on Lil Nas X’s mega-smash “Old Town Road (Remix)” introduced the 20-year-old rapper of 2019. He started singing his new single “Panini” instead of “Old Town Road.” That was undoubtedly a great opportunity to showcase the talent in front of the world but unfortunately, it was missed
