It seems Rihanna knows how to advertise her own brand quite well. Recently, she surprised everyone with the video of Fenty Skin, her second global beauty brand which will be available on July 31. But before the launch of the product, Rihanna uploaded a video to her YouTube channel sharing the ‘inspiration behind Fenty Skin’ and why all skin types can have it.
When Rihanna launched Fenty Beauty in 2017, it has only one approach: more. While, it has more foundation shades for all (now more than 40) with more innovative colour and packaging, more diversity and inclusion in the brand’s visuals, her new skincare line Fenty Skin will come with three only. However, with this, Rihanna wants to prove that one can do more with less as well.
Fenty Skin is everything
“Fenty Skin is everything I wish I had back then,” she said in a press release. “I wanted it to feel approachable, easy, and to take the pressure off choosing a routine, so I created one for everyone.”
She further added that her skincare journey has been quite complex. Moreover, her skin is super sensitive and face is a bit oily in some parts whereas a bit dry in other parts and she often gets skin fatigue due to travelling. She said on a funny tone that making it was a challenge for her because she felt a responsibility to cover all the bases while thinking of the many skin types.

The Fenty Skin will come with the three products, namely Total Cleans’r Remove-It-All Cleanser, Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum, and Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 which are cruelty-free, vegan, oil-free, and eco-conscious as well. Anyone having any type of skin colour can use this product including any gender too. However, there is a caution for those who have sensitive or acne-prone skin.
