A restricted ceremony
According to Buckingham Palace’s statement, “The private wedding ceremony of Princess Beatrice and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi took place at 11 a.m. on Friday 17th July at The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor.” Now, the question is who all were the guests in the marriage?
The imperial custom
Well, the Queen (94) as well as Prince Philip (99) topped the list of guests in the auspicious occasion, apart from the bride’s father, Prince Andrew (60). To give a complete picture, there were about 20 close friends and family members at the venue namely Windsor Great Park which is located a few miles away from the castle.
The statement from the Palace further read, “The small ceremony was attended by The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh and close family. The wedding took place in accordance with all relevant Government Guidelines”.
While the Sun reported such breaking news, it also mentioned that Queen Elizabeth had to leave the nuptials early to pay a visit at Capt. Tom Moore’s knighthood ceremony. However, Her Majesty granted the honour of Capt. Tom at the castle.
