The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi was calm in the middle of a crisis, said Bear Grylls, the host of ‘Man vs Wild’, the popular television show, before the special episode aired on the Discovery Channel.

Bear Grylls said to ANI that the PM cares about the environment and because of this he came to this journey. Even he was comfortable there as well as calm also. He further shared that they got hit by some really big stones and rain when they were there.

Grylls further added that the team was really on the edge, but the Prime Minister was very calm throughout the journey. Even no one can get to know what someone is like until a crisis takes place. However, PM Modi spent a couple of hours with Grylls inside the Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand to shoot for the episode, which will be aired on August 12.
Modi Impresses the Host
Grylls was impressed mostly by Modi’s humility, as he was all smiling even through in rains. Even he crossed the river on a raft which was made of reeds and a tarpaulin.
“I said to him in the beginning, it was my job to keep you safe from wild animals, bad weather and big rivers, which was true. He was calm and considerate, very trusting of me and we just travelled together. It was harder for his security team as they were carrying weapons briefcases and all that. The Prime Minister was an example of calm and cheerfulness,” Bear Grylls said.
Last month, a 45-second promo of the special episode was shared by Bear Grylls on Twitter, which became viral on the internet. In the video, people get to see a completely different side of the Prime Minister.
