Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth recently announced their separation within a year of their marriage. However, for the nearly one month they looked distant and detached from each other in the pictures.
Back story
Miley Cyrus and husband Liam Hemsworth met in 2009 on the set of The Last Song. After having an on-off relationship for nearly 10 years, they decided to marry last year in December. They broke their engagement once in 2013 but reconciled in 2015.
A month ago on July 9, they visited CA in Central California’s San Ynez valley, where a fan shoots a video of Liam who was seen walking faster and maintaining distance from his wife, He was looking straight and expressionless. Miley Cyrus, on the other hand, walked slowly behind him and was looking down at her phone.

They posed for a picture with the fan but neither Miley nor Liam looked smiling enough.

Although, they were happy with each other couple of months ago. Miley Cyrus tweeted about their ten years of love on June 11 with a beautiful caption, “Happy 10 year anniversary my love, Good to see everyone is as dumb as they were in 2009! Some things never change….& I hope the way you feel about me is one of them. You’re truly.”

Current status
A rep for Miley said to PEOPLE on August 10 that the celebrity couple has agreed to split. Right now they both want to focus on their careers and have decided to look after all the animals together and asked to respect their decision.
Both Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have been spending quality times with their respective friends and family. Liam headed off solo to Australia to spend time with his older brother Chris Hemsworth and has extended his stay following the split. Miley has been enjoying in Italy with her sister Brandi Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter.
