Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter have announced their separation after a little over a month after they started dating. According to Us Weekly, the singer went to Las Vegas on September 21, with her mother, Tish Cyrus and her elder sister, Brandi Cyrus. She went there to attend the iHeartRadio Music Festival, where Miley Cyrus was set to perform. On the other hand, Kaitlynn of “Hills: New Beginnings” fame was at home where she was seen relaxing as per her Instagram Stories.
The duo was first linked in August when they were seen kissing on vacation in Italy. Their photographs went viral on social media in no minutes just before Miley Cyrus confirmed her separation from the actor, now her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth on August 10.
That separation took place after less than eight months of the marriage. Liam and Miley dated on and off for more than a decade before getting married at their Nashville home in December 2018.
The actor and long-time boyfriend Brody Jenner had also announced the split just one week earlier. Kaitlynn was also seen wearing a ring with the letter ‘M’ when the former couple had attended New York Fashion Week earlier this month. Since then, their romance has continued to grow. Kaitlynn was seen hanging out with Tish Cyrus and they used to step out in matching outfits as well, earlier this month. It was also reported that they had been living together.
However, a source told People: ‘Miley and Kaitlynn broke up. They’re still friends, they’ve been friends forever and were there for each other when they were both getting separated. ‘But they’re just not in a romantic relationship anymore.’
