He told Us Weekly that he sees her doing whatever she feels like she should do to be content and coexist within a system that has not been very welcoming to who she is and where she comes from. He further added that When you see women of color, specifically Black women, standing up for themselves and speaking against what they feel is disrespect or oppression, frequently classify they don’t want that to occur. He also told the publication he didn’t “see her” as bullying people during her time at the palace.

Meanwhile, Meghan’s public representatives strongly denied the claims by stating that The Duchess is not in a proper mental state due to the attack on her character, particularly as someone who has been the target of bullying herself and is deeply committed to supporting those who have experienced pain and trauma.
