Wading the patience of fandom, filming of the science fiction sequel The Matrix 4 is finally underway.
The confusing attire: Reeves
A photo from the set depicted Keanu Reeves holding a kind of script and wearing a hood to hide his face who’s also wearing a bathrobe. But whether that’s a costume Neo will wear in the film or the actor is just on his way to hairstyling and makeup, can’t be confirmed. Lastly, we’re not the Oracle!
Hopefully, a capture from the shoot showing Neo’s full outfit will appear soon, as everyone is desperate to know if he would don the long leather coat again. It’s a quiet dated look but is instantly recognisable.

Demonstrating the swaying action
In a new jaw-dropping video, two people dressed in the movie franchise’s all-black clothing are seen jumping off a tall building while suspended by several wires. The two actors take a running start and dive headfirst as the wires slowly help them glide through the air.
It’s unclear if the two are stunt doubles or the movie’s A-List stars.
A lucky onlooker, however, told PEOPLE, that the production was filming a low-key sequence in which Reeves was crossing the street near Columbus Avenue and Montgomery Street in San Francisco’s North Beach neighbourhood.

The fusion of old and new faces
Carrie-Anne Moss who’s since starred in Marvel’s Jessica Jones is also returning. Newcomers to the franchise include How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris, Aquaman actor Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Sense8 star Toby Onwumere, Iron Fist’s Jessica Henwick, and Frozen 2 and Mindhunter star Jonathan Groff.

Lana Wachowski would direct the picture, who is co-writing the script with The Lazarus Project’s Aleksandar Hemon and Cloud Atlas author David Mitchell.
The collision between release dates
Warner Bros has already pencilled in a release date for the franchise scheduled on May 21, 2021. Eventually, it is the same day as Reeves’ another action vehicle, John Wick 4.
