McLaren has emerged as the dominant force in the 2025 Formula 1 season, winning 11 of the 14 races so far. The team has secured four consecutive 1-2 finishes, with Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris leading the drivers’ championship battle.

Stella Credits Continuous Upgrades

Team principal Andrea Stella revealed that McLaren’s success isn’t just due to a strong base car. Since the Canadian Grand Prix, the team has introduced upgrades at nearly every race. Stella said these changes have added “a few tenths of a second” and helped McLaren stay ahead of the competition.

Preparing for Tougher Tracks

McLaren is also working on improving performance at circuits where it struggled last year. Stella mentioned targeted upgrades for tracks like Monza and Las Vegas, which were previously less favorable. He believes this preparation will help McLaren remain competitive throughout the second half of the season.

Eyes on Double Title Glory

With a commanding lead in the constructors’ standings and both drivers in title contention, McLaren is on track for its first double championship win since 1998. Stella expressed confidence about the upcoming races, especially at Zandvoort, where the team expects strong results.
