Famous pop star Lady Gaga has raised almost $128 million in the US for the relief fund through the COVID-19 concert – “One World: Together at Home” which actually celebrated all the healthcare workers who are fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The two-hour event has also witnessed the participation of famous Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra. They featured in the performances by Gaga, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Lizzo, and Taylor Swift among others as well. However, earlier it was not planned as a fundraiser event but the April 18 concert inspired everyone across America to donate, according to the reports of aceshowbiz.com.

The constant hitmaker has started the event with a performance of Charlie Chaplin’s “Smile” and ended the concert with a beautiful rendition of “The Prayer” which also featured the singers like Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli.

On the other hand, the Global Citizen officials, who helped to organize the show together, confirmed that the event has raised a whopping $127.9 million for the COVID-19 relief fund.

“Thank you @ladygaga for helping @GlblCtzn create this historic global broadcasting event. To everyone around the world: Stay strong, stay safe, we will be together in person soon,” the message read.

Lady Gaga to cheer for King Khan?

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga was seen cheering for Shah Rukh Khan during the ‘One World: Together at Home’ concert. In the video, Shah Rukh can be seen talking about the global pandemic novel coronavirus while Gaga can be heard cheering for him and the video became viral on the social media in no time. Many fan clubs of the famous actor have shared the video on social media too which was taken from the singer’s Instagram story.

But the fact cannot be denied that be it Lady Gaga or any other person around the world, Shah Rukh Khan can make any one of his fans. As far as the COVID-19 is concerned, it has brought the world into a standstill with more than 2 million people have been affected.
