Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have thrown away a good chance to do good as royals, according to a new book. In fact, they wouldn’t be welcomed back to the UK if they fail to make a fortune in Hollywood.
The 70-year-old author of the behind-the-scenes book, Lady Colin Campbell has recently said that the couple has been busy in ‘petty squabbles’ which has kept themselves away from doing humanitarian work. She further said that they failed to use this opportunity because of Harry’s ‘mental health problems’ and Meghan’s ‘personality problems’ as well.
The author of Meghan and Harry: The Real Story revealed that if the couple were ‘sincere humanitarians’ then they would know that they had a perfect platform to do good work.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not be welcomed?
“What surprised me the most about Meghan and Harry when I looked into what was really going was what a tremendous opportunity they had to do good all over the world,” Lady Colin Campbell told Fox News. “And if they were sincere humanitarians, they would know they had an absolutely perfect springboard for doing the most wonderful work and how they were bogged down in petty squabbles.”
However, the royal biographer has published her new book ‘Meghan and Harry: The Real Story,’ in June. The Jamaican-born British writer has also written the 1992 best-selling biography, Diana in Private: The Princess Nobody Knows.
Meanwhile, her most recent book provides with a ‘behind-the-scenes authoritative account’ which covers Meghan Markle and Harry’s romance, their high-profile marriage and also their sudden as well as shocking decision to quit the tag of the British royal family.
However, the writer claimed that she tried not to show them at their worst instead she focused on the positive sides like what their possibilities were and still could be etc.
She shared, “I think there will be a very difficult way forward, no matter what the way is. I think if they try to come back to this country, they will not be welcomed. I think there is a distinct possibility if they don’t make their great fortune that they were hoping to make in Hollywood, they’re going to have to move on to somewhere else.”
However, after all the criticism of the couple, Lady Campbell said that she is still rooting for Meghan Markle and believes that Meghan could do well still. Notably, the couple along with son Archie recently moved into their new home in Montecito, Santa Barbara, California.
