All the Keanu Reeves fans have already geared up for the big news where it was revealed that his two big franchise movies are all set to release on the same day. By far everyone has got a hint about the movies.
Yes, you are right! The movies are John Wick 4 and Matrix 4 which will release in 2021 that too on the same day. While Reeves returns to the fourth edition of John Wick with John Wick 4, the famous star is revisiting the huge hit Matrix series with Matrix 4. Now, it has been confirmed that both the franchises are looking forward to releasing their respective movies on the same weekend.

According to a Forbes report, Warner Bros has earlier announced that Matrix 4 would release on May 21, 2021. Matrix 4 will see Keanu Reeves reunite with Carrie Anne Moss, with a cast which included Neil Patrick Harris, Jonathan Groff, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Jada Pinkett Smith.
Surprisingly, the publication also reports that Matrix 4 is planning to release on the same weekend as The Matrix Reloaded released in 2003. The movie had opened with a whopping $91 million weekend collections and collected $742 million worldwide. The makers have been expecting something like this with the new one as well.
Saying that John Wick 4 makers are also planning to release on the same weekend. However, there are chances that either of the movies could change their dates. As of now, the news is official that Matrix 4 and John Wick 4 are possibly clashing at the box office.
