Chelsea’s attempt to sign Victor Osimhen has faced a setback due to Nigeria’s astronomical wage demands as per SunSport report. The Nigerian striker Osimhen has already requested a formal transfer to Napoli, and Paris Saint-Germain is also showing interest.
Osimhen Demands £500,000 Per Week
The Blues had been in talks with Osimhen’s representatives about a potential summer transfer but their loan offer was turned down. The club is also hesitant to pay his £110 million release clause.
Napoli has agreed for the blues to sign Romelu Lukaku on a separate £38 million deal. While Osimhen is reportedly demanding an eye-watering £500,000 per week, however Blues are not ready to accept the demand.

Osimhen a Valuable Asset In The Team

Osimhen’s goal-scoring ability makes him a valuable asset in the team. At Napoli, he demonstrated his ability to find the back of the net on a consistent basis. He has scored 76 goals and 18 assists in 133 appearances.
As per the Guardian reports Chelsea’s striker Armando Broja’s loan move to Ipswich Town may fall through. Broja is not part of Enzo Maresca’s plans at Stamford Bridge, and Chelsea is looking to offload the Albanian forward. They were prepared to loan Armando Broja to Ipswich Town, with an agreement for Ipswich to purchase him for £30 million if they remained in the Premier League. However, the transfer due to paperwork issues is on the brink of fall.
As per latest reports that Chelsea is not withdrawing from the negotiations, However Ipswich Town is exploring other options. Armando Broja has scored three goals and provided two assists in 38 appearances for Chelsea’s senior team and has previously been on loan at Southampton and Fulham in the Premier League.
