Jack Grealish has officially joined Everton on a season-long loan from Manchester City. With a medical completed, Grealish is expected to debut in Everton’s Premier League opener against Leeds United on August 18.
A Fall from Grace at Manchester City
Grealish was a key figure in City’s 2022–23 treble-winning campaign, starting all seven Champions League knockout matches. But injuries, tactical shifts, and competition from younger players like Jeremy Doku saw his role diminish. Last season, he made just seven league starts and was excluded from the Club World Cup squad.
