The famous show – F.R.I.E.N.D.S is all set to come on the streaming platform again on May 27 with HBO Max when it will officially launch. Your favourite Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe and Joey will be there for you. However, the cast reunion with Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer won’t be there since it couldn’t be filmed due to the global pandemic novel coronavirus outbreak around the world and social distancing guidelines which have been imposed on everyone.
There will be plenty of shows you will get to watch which included Anna Kendrick flick Love Life, documentary film On the Record, new shows Legendary and Craftopia, new Looney Tunes Cartoons and The Not Too Late Show With Elmo as well.
Batman and Superman too on the streaming platform?
Along with these, Sesame Street, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, The O.C., Gossip Girl, The West Wing, Pretty Little Liars, The Bachelor and Doctor Who, Casablanca, The Wizard of Oz, When Harry Met Sally and every Batman and Superman movie from the last 40 years will also be streamed on the launch date.
Robert Greenblatt, chairman of Warner Media Entertainment and direct-to-consumer, said that they have a goal to have extraordinary content for everyone and also shared his excitement about the launch.
He again added, “Even in the midst of this unprecedented pandemic, the all-star teams behind every aspect of HBO Max will deliver a platform and a robust slate of content that is varied, of the highest quality, and second to none. I’m knocked out by the breadth and depth of our new offering, from the Max originals, our Warner Bros library and acquisition titles from around the world, and of course the entirety of HBO.”
After the launch, HBO Max Originals will continue to add new episodes too, including The Flight Attendant, the unscripted cast reunion of FRIENDS, new episodes of Doom Patrol, the return of Search Party, Amy Schumer’s documentary series and Adventure Time: Distant Lands-BMO as well.
FRIENDS are coming with a challenge?
But the most interesting thing is going to be the challenge which the casts of FRIENDS have decided. They have offered the chance to six fans to join them for the upcoming reunion show. They will give six tickets to the taping of their forthcoming reunion special on HBO Max as well as a cup of coffee at “Central Perk” which is a part of the Warner Bros. Studio Tour.
Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry have already announced the contest on their social media platforms. The reunion tickets and studio tour are part of the #AllInChallenge that raises funds for needy people. Notably, #AllInChallenge has launched in the United States and the stars like Justin Bieber, Leonardo DiCaprio and NFL quarterback Tom Brady have already featured in the challenge where they have raised more than $14 million for food charities too.
