With the global pandemic, coronavirus outbreak has brought the entire world into a standstill, all the events, be it sports or movies have been cancelled or postponed. This also affected the reunion of classic nineties show Friends which left all the fans disheartened but the casts have something to cheer you up and they are going to give a little surprise to all the fans.
According to a report by The Sun, all the star casts of the famous show – Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer, have recorded a 90-minute special video online.
The report also shared how the Courteney, who portrayed Monica Gellar on the show, filmed a ‘mock rehearsal’ alongside the director Ben Winston, over the live video- saying on Zoom app. It was also revealed that this episode will be released before airing the reunion that has now been stopped.
An Insider On Reunion
An insider from the show informed to the publication: “As soon as filming was cancelled, everyone started panicking as it took so long to get their schedules to align, there was a deep fear it may take a year or even longer to get them all back together again.”
The insider further added that Courtney immediately host a Zoom meeting for all of them and they all started to discuss ideas – brain-storming and bringing in the producers for a session which they referred to as a mock rehearsal and chatted for almost two hours as well. Even they have been having meetings on a daily basis and Aniston – who is the busiest among the six – has assured them she is ready to do anything which makes sure they don’t have to wait several times to get the reunion filmed. However, the new release date is yet to be announced and it will be aired on HBO Max.
“Their Zoom sessions have been brilliant fun, and there’s some hilarious material on there which they hope can be aired as either a series of teasers or even a stand-alone special,” the source concluded.
