On Friday, Sept. 6, the actress Brenda Song, 36, marked the premiere of The Last Showgirl at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival. She was spotted wearing matching black outfits with her longtime partner, Macaulay Culkin, 44.
Culkin Matched His Outfit With Song
While attending the event at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto, Song, who stars in the new Gia Coppola film alongside Pamela Anderson, Jamie Lee Curtis, Dave Bautista, and others, posed for some adorable couple photos with her partner Culkin.
The actress was spotted wearing a dazzling spaghetti-strap black dress with crystal detailing, while Culkin complemented her look by wearing a black suit, black glasses, and a partly unbuttoned dress shirt. In the pictures, Culkin wrapped his arm around Song’s waist, while she rested her hand on his chest.
The couple were also present in afterparty pictures shared by Curtis, Song’s co-star. They began dating in 2017 and share two children including Dakota Song Culkin, 2, and a younger son, born in December 2022.
At the premiere, Song spoke with Canadian entertainment show Etalk about the support she’s received from Culkin and other loved ones as she celebrated the debut of her latest movie, and said, “I’m just so lucky to have wonderful support from my partner, from my family. Like, I couldn’t do anything without them. I think of my parents watching my kids right now. None of this would be possible without a whole team of people holding me up,” reported by People.
About The Last Showgirl
The Last Showgirl written by Kate Gersten, follows Anderson’s character, Shelley, who is a Las Vegas showgirl with 30 years and “the feather and crystal-adorned centerpiece of Sin City’s last remaining traditional floor show,” per an official synopsis.
Since 2022’s Love Accidentally, the movie marks Song’s first film and her first screen role since voicing a character in the Netflix series Blue Eye Samurai in 2023, according to IMDb.
Song Paid Tribute To Her Fiance
Recently, on Father’s Day, the actress paid tribute to her fiance with a heartwarming caption on Instagram, referring to him as “the best papa in the world” and someone “who goes above and beyond every day, who is willing to do (or wear) literally anything to just get a smile from one of his boys,” reported by People.
“Even though you don’t think it — we see all that you do everyday. All the big things but especially the little things. Thank you for always being our pack mule, our chef, garbage man, and doing all the things that keep this crazy train moving,” she added.
“I could not have wished up a better partner to raise our kiddos with or a better role model for them to look up to. We love you,” she further added.
