Eva Mendez, known for her roles in Hollywood films, including her relationship with actor Ryan Gosling, recently delighted fans by sharing her family adventures on social media. Mendez, who proudly mothers daughters Esmeralda and Amada with Gosling, showcased their travels to exotic locations, bringing along a charming collection of stuffed animals that the girls lovingly cuddled with throughout the trip.
On her Instagram story she wrote “Sooooo I guess they’re a significant part of my carry on now? Is this the new norm?”
“These are only 3 of the 6 that traveled with us”
In her second upload she wrote “Btw, these are only 3 of the 6 that traveled with us. But at least I talked them down from 12.”
Emojis of shocked faces, smiling faces, and a monkey covering its mouth appeared after her caption.
Though the 43-year-old Mendes and Gosling are rarely seen together, earlier this month saw the couple make an unusual public appearance at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics. Before heading to Bercy Stadium for the women’s uneven bars final, the two attended the dressage individual Grand Prix freestyle at the Chateau de Versailles.
“We both thought it was going to be huge,”
Gosling revealed that despite being A-list stars, Mendes and Gosling’s children didn’t care about their fame, especially when Mendes landed a role in the popular animated series Bluey.
He said “They don’t care, We both thought it was going to be huge, They didn’t like it, They were like, ‘Fast-forward through that part!’ ”
In a different interview published in May for PEOPLE’s Beautiful Issue, Mendes talked about the years of support Gosling has given her.
She expressed her need for support and affection from her “Cuban Papi” on Instagram, stating that he has been there for her in all aspects of her life.
Playing a couple with a young boy, Mendes and Gosling first connected while filming The Place Beyond the Pines in 2011. The actress stepped away from the spotlight to concentrate on their family after having their own children.
She said “It was the easiest decision I’ve ever made, I was older and I knew that my kids are going to be little once, and whatever I do or don’t do right now is going to affect them the rest of their life.”
